To fellow members: I am writing this letter to let any fellow shipmates that might have known
Bill Conant, MoMM 3c, that he passed away last September. Bill is survived by his
wife Evelyn and they resided in Red Bluff, CA. He was the grandfather of my
girlfriend and to me a good man. Good evening, Sirs and Gentleman, I wish to add to Brett’s comments about William H. Conant. My uncle was one of the greatest influences upon my life,
and I thank God for his honor and of his crewmates for their service. God Bless our most precious generation.
